Fred Cockerill

BAHAMA- Fred Cockerill, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at his residence in Bahama. Fred was 95 years old. He was born in Goathland, North Yorkshire, England to the late William Thomas and Lily Robinson Cockerill. Fred started work at an early age aneeventually became Huntsman at a number of prestigious Hunts in England. In 1967 Fred and his late wife, Rhoda Mary Hunt Cockerill decided to move to America. He continued his career as Huntsman to the Red Mountain Foxhounds until his retirement in 1990. Mr. Cockerill is survived by his two sons, Anthony Cockerill and his wife, Gillian of Durham ; and Bryan Cockerill of England; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM on Tuesday, neember 3, 2015 in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service with Rev. Bob Wachs officiating.
