Fred Lashley

Fred Lashley, 78, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 25, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family. A native of Chatham County, Fred was born to the late Mike & Mabel Hester Lashley. In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded ineeath by his wife, Agnes Ward Lashley. Survivors include his daughters, Wanda Lucas and Conee McClamroch Jim, both of Chapel Hill; his grandson, Sandy McClamroch; and his sisters, Jeanette Edwards of Chapel Hill, Linda Williamson of Norwood, NC and Doris Snees of Pittsboro, NC. A funeral service for Mr. Lashley will be held 2PM Friday, March 28, 2014 at Orange Chapel UMC. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. Burial will be private.
