Freida Dement Harris

Freida Dement Harris 72, of Oxford, passed away Friday September 4, 2015. She was a native of Granville County and the daughter of the late C. W. Dement and Helen Brogdeneement. She was a member of the DAR and UDC, past president of the Mary Jamison Woman???s Club, an active member of Creedmoor Uneed Methodist Church, a homemaker, and avid Duke faneeveryone looked forward to her annual Christmas Party. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Creedmoor Uneed Methodist Church by Rev Jared Hansen and Rev Karl Grant. Entombment will follow ineeadowview Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband; Jim Harris, a son; Tom Walker of Raleigh, a sister; Deborah Currin, of Raleigh, two grandsons; Zack and Ryan, three great grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Families Living Violence Free 210 Broad St. Oxford, NC 27565.
