GALE P. LEWIS, SR. OXFORD- Gale P. Lewis, Sr., age 80 a resident of Oxford died Thursday September 11, 2008 in Granville Medical Center. He was a native of Franklin County and was the son of the late Robert Gale aneethel Suggs Lewis. Mr. Lewis was the owner of Lewis Communication and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church, former member of the Granville Co. Rescue Squad and Ambulance Service. Graveside services will be held Sunday September 14, 2008 at 3:00 PM in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery by Dr. Randy Pittman and the Rev. Lemar Wheeler. Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Rebecca " Becky' S. Lewis; one daughter Lisa Lewis of Oxford ; one son Gale Phil Lewis, Jr. of Oxford and one sister, Juanita Lewis of Nashville, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7:00 until 8:30 at the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of Ann Parrott, 2663 Lake Devin Rd. Oxford.
