Genevieve Grabowski

Genevieve Grabowski, 90, died on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Genevieve was born ineenmark to the late Maria and Joseph Wiatka on July 1, 1918. She was raised in Poland and lived ineermany prior to immigrating to the Uneed States in 1949. Genevieve is survived by her husband of 61 years, George Grabowski of Durham; daughters Eva Hoke and husband James of Chapel Hill; aneelizabeth Paterson and her husband Robert of Tiburon, CA; grandchildren Sarah Hoke of Atlanta, GA aneethan Hoke of Philadelphia, PA; and many loving relatives in Poland, France and Denmark. Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions ineenevieve's nee may be made to Holy Infant Catholic Church, 5000 Southpark Dr., Durham, NC 27713; or to the charity of your choice. Please include "Genevieve Grabowski Memorial" on the memo line of your check. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11 AM on Friday, October 3, 2008 from Holy Infant Catholic Church, 5000 Southpark Dr., Durham. Fr. Mike McCue will officiate.
