Geoffrey Allen Floyd

OXFORD: Geoffrey Allen Floyd, died January 8, 2013 at his home. He was a native of Granville Co. and was the son of the late Eric Zadok and Viola Latta Floyd. Geoffrey was a retired rural mail carrier with the US Postal Service, member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and a member of the National Rural Carrier Association. He was a member of the Oxford Uneed Methodist Church and a veteran of the US Army. Memorial services will be conducted Thursday January 10, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Oxford Uneed Methodist Church by Rev. David Haley and Rev, Ernest A. Reavis. The family will receive friends following the services in the church fellowship hall.
