Gerald Rene Hite Frazier 79, died Tuesday April 14, 2015 at her home and went to be with her Lord surrounded by her loving family. She is a native of Granville County, NC the daughter of the late Walter E. Hite and Lila Y. Hite and step-mother Willie O. Hite. Mrs. Frazier Graduated from Oak Hill High School and Fuller???s Business School. She was the widow of James E. Frazier. She worked as the secretary/clerk of the Flat River Baptist Association for 35 years. Mrs. Frazier was an active member of Amis Chapel Baptist Church serving as Sunday School Teacher, pianist, church secretary, WMU Leader as well as other committees. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ??? 8:00PM Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Gentry neell& Vaughan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Amis Chapel Baptist Church by the Reverend Terry Howard, Reverend Vernon Wilkerson and Reverend Bob Wainwright. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Surviving are her daughters Ann Lynette Frazier, Wineee F. Keranakis, and her son in law W. Darrell Keranakis. Mrs. Frazier had four grandchildren: Jessica K. Poole (Phillip), Michelle K. Williford (John Thomas), Laureneeranakis, and Sara Keranakis. She also had three great grandchildren: John Dawson Williford, Macie ann Williford, and Sadie Claire Poole. She also is survived by a sister Kathleen H. Davis, three step brothers George Owen, Bobby Ray Owen, and Harold Owen. And a special thank you to her caregiver: Shirley Webb. Mrs. Frazier was predeceased ineeath by her parents and her husband.
