Harry Royster Hobgood

Harry Royster Hobgood, 70, of Bullock, NC died Tuesday, February 11, 2020. He was born in Granville County on June 30, 1949 to Asa Royster Hobgood and Lodema Currin Hobgood. Harry was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was employed with Certaineed for 37 years before retiring. Harry was also a dedicated member of Bullock Baptist Church where he enjoyed serving as a Deacon. He will be dearly missed. Harry is survived by his wife, Bonee Clifford Hobgood; son, Harry ???Brian??? Hobgood (Melanie); daughter, Leslie Hobgood Jones (Luke); grandchildreneemily, Holden, Will, and Katelyn. He is also survived by his sister, Sarah Hobgood Glenn (Tim); and many other lovineextended family and friends. In addition to being predeceased by his parents, Harry is also predeceased by his sister, Marjorie ???Tink??? Newton. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Bullock Baptist Church, 4078 Buckhorn Rd, Bullock, NC. Burial will follow in Royster Cemetery. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made in Harry???s nee to Bullock Baptist Church, 4078 Buckhorn Rd, Bullock, NC 27507.
