Harvey Wendell Lunsford

Harvey Wendell Lunsford, age 90, died at Duke Hospital on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. He was born on June 22, 1929 to the late Harvey Lunsford and Biddie Lunsford.
Wendell was a self-made, successful businessman thru his years. He dabbled in many occupations; his last adventure was with his daughter, Piper, opening a successful deli in 1984, later selling it in 1997 to retire. Piper continues his hard work ethic in the restaurant business. He loved his family and he loved his friends. “Thanks for being my friend.” Wendell now joins his son, Kem. “Really?”
Wendell Lunsford is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen and daughter, Piper Lunsford. Wendell was preceded in death by his son, Kem Lunsford.
