Imogene Poplin

DURHAM- Imogene Hellard Poplin, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at her residence. Imogene is the daughter of the late Robert Lee Hellard and Lesie Gregory Hellard. Imogene was preceded ineeath by her husband, Charles Monee Poplin. Imogene is survived by her daughter, Rebekah Poplin of Morganton; her son, Robert Poplin of Durham; her sister, Rilla Munday of Cooleemee, NC; and her granddaughter, Sarah Owens. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at St. Stephen???s Episcopal Church with Fr. Robert Kaynor officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Stepheneepiscopal Church, 82 Kimberly Dr., Durham, NC 27707 or Thompson Child & Family Focus, 6800 Saint Peter???s Lane, Matthews, NC 28105.
