Inez Woodlief Cifers

OXFORD: Inez Virginia Woodlief Cifers, age 91, went to be with the Lord oneednesday, September 2, 2009 at Brantwood Nursing Home in Oxford, NC. Inez touched the hearts and lives of everyone around her in many ways. A native of Granville County and the daughter of the late D. Woodlief and Sudie Evans Woodlief, she was a member of Tungsten Baptist Church and a homemaker. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Friday, September 4, 2009 from Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Sam Brewer. Burial will follow at Mt. Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her children; daughters Virginia Nell Ramsey and husband Washington of Buffalo Junction, VA, Dorothy Lee Elliott and husband William S. of Hopewell, VA, Frances C. Callis of Kingsbury, CA and one soneenjamin B. Cifers and wife Joyce, of Bullock, NC; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Inez was preceded ineeath by her beloved husband Richard Harvey Cifers; one brother, Charlie Woodlief, and two sisters, Alma W. Jones and Nettie W. Sparks. Visitation was held from 7:00 until 8:30 PM, Thursday, September 03, 2009 from Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home in Oxford. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Mt.
