In loving memory of Jacqulene Egnor Cantley, who passed away on March 31, 2025. Born to the late Gifford and Pearl Egnor in Boone County, WV, on December 16, 1936, Jackie lived a life rich with humor and grace, touching the hearts of many.
Jackie was not only a beloved mother and grandmother but also a dedicated public servant with the Granville school system, where her spirit and warmth made a lasting impact. Residing in the Oxford, NC area, she shared her talent for poetry and cross-stitching, leaving behind beautiful creations that will be cherished by those who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Carrie Cantley Lickness (Jason), her son Bryan Walter Cantley (Kim), and her grandchildren Michael David O’Brien (Taylor), Chelsa Hunter Wade, and Talia M. Cantley. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her sisters, Karen Qualls (CA) and Patsy Adkins (MI), along with numerous great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love.
Jackie was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Walter Norge Cantley. Her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of her loving family and friends, who will carry her memory with them always.
