James Bates Willette, Jr.

STEM: James Bates Willette, Jr., age 68, died Monday, August 03, 2009. A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late James B. and Betty Nelms Willette. He was a member of Stem Uneed Methodist Church and a graduate of Stem High School. He was employed as a realtor and was a US Army Veteran. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Mount Herman Baptist Church Cemetery by Dr. Doug Willette and Rev. Norman Waters. Honorary Pallbearers are Jerry Cates, Jay Foushee, Joel Gooch, Stacy Puryear, Al Williams, Edwin Williams, and Jim Wilson Surviving is one son, Rodney Willette of Edmond, OK; two daughters, April Willette Scott of Edmond, OK, Deborah Farrell of Stem, NC; one brother, Albert David Willette of Snead's Ferry, NC; his fianeeacute;, Linda Woods; and two grandchildren.
