OXFORD: James Dale Mink, died Saturday, April 20, 2013. He was born neember 22, 1943 in Baltimore, MD and was the son of the late James Cecil and Audrey Taylor Mink. James grew up most of his life in Pulaski, Va. He was an Insurance broker, a veteran of the US Army, a Mason and a member of Trinity Chapel Methodist Church in Pulaski, Va. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday April 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Salem Uneed Methodist Church by Rev. Alan P. Felton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the services in the fellowship hall of the church. Surviving is a daughter, Sabrina M. DeVincenzo Nicholas of Baltimore; brother, Arnold Eugene MinkPolly of Blacksburg, Va.; sisters, Delores Y. Mink of Luray, Va., Sandra M. Graham of Pulaski, Va., Rebecca T. Newberry of Kernersville, NC and Sue T. Somers of Luray, Va.; a grandson, Liam DeVincenzo. Also surviving is long time friend Kitty Humphries of Oxford, and family, Kathy Humphries and Michael Lambert of Oxford and Lee Anne aneeverett Amos of Manson, and Raymond Amos of Manson n NC. Burial services with Military Rites will be held on Friday April 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Southeastern Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, Va. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Salem Uneed Methodist Church, c/o Phyllis Stark, 6639 Horner Siding Rd., Oxford, NC 27565 or to a charity of your choice.
