James Nelson Currin, Jr.

OXFORD: James Nelson Currin, Jr. age 66, of Oxford, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Duke Medical Center. A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late J. Nelson Currin aneelsie C. Currin. Mr. Currin was a member of Hester Baptist Church and a retired maneer of Crowneellerbach. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Hester Baptist Church by Rev. Lovelle Waters and Rev. Leslie Giles. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home. Surviving are their children, James Nelson Currin, III of Raleigh, Belinda Currin of Richmond, Dawn Currin Munoz of Hillsborough, and their mother, Jean S. Currin of Richmond. His two sisters, Carolyn Cutts of Raleigh and Nancy Garrett of Raleigh and 8 grandchildren.
