James Watts Copley, 95, of Chesterfield, VA formerly of Durham passed away Monday, December 15, 2014.?? He was borneeptember 29, 1919 in Durham, NC to the late Edgar Hugh Copley and Nanee Watts Copley. Mr. Copley was a World War II veteran and served his country in the U.S. Army.?? He attended Georgia Institute of Technology and was a retired Land Surveyor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded ineeath by his wife of 65 years, Helen P. Copley and sister, Nancy C. Boggs. He is survived by one daughter Susan Jarvis and husband Archie Jarvis of Chesterfield, VA. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Maplewood Cemetery.
