Janeedwards Miskie

Franklinton- Janeedwards Miskie, 73, of Franklinton died Friday, October 15, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Mills Sumner and Mabel Cannon Sumner. Jane was an artist who loved paintings and antiques. Also she was an avid gardener. In addition to her parents she was preceded ineeath by her husband, Kenneth Miskie and her son, Kent Funston. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Estes and husband, Jay, of Zebulon; daughter-in-law, Lisa Funston of Gulf, NC; grandchildreneegan Hamilton and husband, Steven, of Moyock, NC; and Brandi Ayers of Gulf, NC; great grandchildren, Madison and Gabrielle Hamilton of Moyock, NC. Jane is also survived by special cousins, Jenee James of Pittsboro; Jane Cannon and special friend Mary A. Cox both of Charlotte. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St. Franklinton, NC.
