Janie Catherine Oakley

STEM: Janie Oakley, 81, died Sunday October 7, 2012 at Durham Regional Hospital. She was a native of Granville Co. and was the daughter of the late William Pender and Mittie Taylor Oakley. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and a home maker. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, October 9, 2012 in the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Billy Lynch. Burial wil be in Community Memorial Gardens in Stem, NC. Surviving are one sister, Della O. Williams of Stem; brothers, Roy S. Oakley of Roxboro aneelvin Oakley of Stem. Also surviving ar several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, October 8, 2012 from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home.
