Janis Dorward

Janis Wilson Dorward, 80, of Chapel Hill, NC, died December 23, 2009. Mrs. Dorward was the only child of John Burton aneelizabeth Wilson, Born in Kansas City, MO, she spent her childhood in Watseka, Illinois and attended the Uneersity of Illinois. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, John Howard Dorward. Survivors include her 4 children, Cheryl Todt of Bradenton, Florida, John W. Dorward Patricia of Chapel Hill, Cathleen Lucas Robert of Chapel Hill and Barbara Montanero Todd of Jupiter, Florida; 5 grandchildren, Victoria DeCamp, Danielle Todt, Stephen Montanero, Nichole Montanero, Jonathan Montanero; and 2 great grandsons, JonathoneeCamp and James DeCamp. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any remembrances be made to Inter-Faith Council, 110 W. Main Street, Carrboro, NC 27510. Memorial Services are Monday, December 28, 2009, 1:00 PM at Farrington Road Baptist Church, 5936 Farrington Road, Chapel Hill. The Rev. Jim Greenee will preside.
