Jean Jones Parrott

OXFORD: Jean Jones Parrott, age 75, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at her home. A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Day Jones and Alma Woodlief Jones and the widow of the late Roy Noblin Parrott. Jean was a member of Enon Baptist Church and retired from the family business. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 19, 2013, 11:00 AM at Enon Baptist Church by Reverend Steve Brown. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM on Friday prior to the service at the church. Surviving is a son, Craig Parrott Karen of Oxford; a daughter, Tempe P. Earnhardt Tim of Apex and a brother, W. D. Dee Jones, Jr. Beverly of Chapel Hill. Jean is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler Parrott, Bryce Parrott, Ryan Earnhardt, and Lineey Earnhardt. She was preceded ineeath by a brother, Bobby Jones.
