DURHAM – Jennifer Deanice McFalls, age 54, died on October 11, 2020. She was born in Asheville, NC on October 9, 1966 and was a long-time resident of Orange County.
Jennifer graduated from Orange Senior High School in 1984. She was an avid gardener, traveler, and adventurer. She was a lifelong UNC fan and Nascar fan. She also enjoyed watching races with her father on Sunday’s. She enjoyed going to Concerts with friends and family. Jennifer loved cooking for friends and family for all occasions. She was known for her kind southern hospitality and always helping a friend out in need.
Jennifer was self employed for thirty years and ran a housekeeping business. She made many lifelong friends with her clients, whom she cherished.
Jennifer is survived by her daughter Ashley Franklin, her son Lakota Franklin, and her brother Jeremy McFalls (Julie) and nieces Janson and Jordan. Jennifer loved her two cats Sylvester and Coco that brought joy into her life.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents Jimmy Dean McFalls and Joyce Pressley McFalls.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service. The family will greet friends from 10-10:45am prior to the service at Hall-Wynne.
