Joanne Paul Kemp, 72, Pamilico Co. native, died Jan. 3, 2009 at Laurels of Chatham in Pittsboro, NC. Born May 27, 1937 to Harold and Mary Duval Paul. Retired from the State of NC. Survived by sons, Larry Kemp of Durham, Eric Kemp of Asheville; daugher, Paula Kemp of Chapel Hill; brother, William Paul of Bayboro; three grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Larry Kemp, Sr., and son, Ross Kemp. Mrs. Kemp was cremated and a memorial service will be held in Pamlico County at a date to be announced.
