John Anthony Little

Bullock: John Anthony Little, age 21 of 2709-B Grassy Creek-Virgilina Road died in a fatal car accident on Nov. 22, 2008. Son of Paige T. Little and the late Jay Porter Little, who fought a heroic fight with ALS. John was a current student at NC State Uneersity and graduated from J. F. Webb High School in 2005. He attended Fork Union Military Academy in his sophomore year in high school. He also attended UNC-Greensboro before traneerring to NC State Uneersity. He enjoyed hunting and camping with his many friends, especially on the farm at his home in Grassy Creek. John had a great love for his Lord, his family and his many friends. He was a member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Friday, neember 28 from Grassy Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. John Armstrong. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving in addition to his mother, are his step-father W. Marshall Miller, II and his grandparents Jerry aneeugenia Timberlake. He is also survived by Thomas Freeman, who was a family caregiver for many years, his extended family, aunts, unees and cousins, his church family and many friends. The family will receive friends 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Thursday, Nov. 27 at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home, 503 College Street in Oxford.
