OXFORD: John Thomas Hendrick, age 80, of 5624 Old Roxboro Road, died Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late John W. and Gladys Browneendrick. He was a retired farmer, a disabled veteran of the US Army, and a member of Geneva Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from Geneva Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Jasoneeonard, Rev. Martha Ellis and Rev. Bonee Pettijohn. Burial will follow ineehoboth Uneed Methodist Church Cemetery in Vance County. Mr. Hendrick is survived by one brother, George McClellaneendrick and wife, Sylvia Surratt Hendrick of Oxford; two sister, Sandra Hendrick Berry and husband, James Berry, of Oxford; Jane Hendrick Snees and husband David M. Snees of Timberlake; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home.
