Johneesley Chapman

Johneesley Chapman, Sr., 90, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2006 of a ruptured abdominal aneurism at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He and his wife Katherine moved to Murfreesboro from Durham, North Carolina two years ago to be near their daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Marc Stephens. They are currently members of First Uneed Methodist Church in Murfreesboro. John was born at home February 25, 1916 close to Dover, in Pitt County, eastern North Carolina to the late Peter Cooper and Belva Dixon Chapman. He grew up on a tobacco farm. He helped his mother in the kitchen, where she trained him in cooking. This remained a hobby of John
