Johnny Lowe Norwood

OXFORD: Johnny Lowe Norwood, age 57 died neember 8, 2014 at his home. He was a native of Durham Co. and was the son of Betty W. Norwood and the late Billie Eugene Norwood. Johnny was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the US Navy. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday neember 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Hester Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Alex Gallimore. Burial with military rites. Surviving in addition to his mother, are two brothers, Rodney Blake Norwood (JoAnne) of Raleigh and Robert Eugene ???Skip??? Norwood (Linda) of Creedmoor; also nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the fellowship hall of the church. At other times they will be at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Music Fund of Hester Baptist Church, P.O Box 964, Oxford, NC 27565. The Norwood family is under the care of Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home.
