Joseph Lake Mclaurin

Oxford, NC: Joseph Lake "Joe" McLaurin, 62 of Oxford died Wednesday, Nov 27, 2013. A native of Surry County, son of the late Daniel Archie McLaurin, Jr. and Mary Margaret Templeton McLaurin. An active member of the Oxford Uneed Methodist Church, a retired employee of Wesco Heating and Air, he was president of the Trianee Chapter of the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, neember 30, 2013 at the Oxford Uneed Methodist Church by the Reverend David Haley and the Reverend Alan Swartz. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Ginny Muse McLaurin; his daughter, Jenny Rebecca McLaurin Jamie Sugg of Winterville; Amanda McLaurin Bouleris Matt of Raleigh; Danielle McLaurin Hunter H.B. of Concord, NC; his brother Daniel Archie McLaurin III Judy of Raleigh; Paul Aneew McLaurineenee of Ferndale, Washington; Franklin Glenn McLaurin Vivian of Garner; and 5 grandchildren.
