Junior Frank Thomerson

Mr. Junior Frank Thomerson, age 92, died Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Uneersal Health Care. He was a native of Granville County and the son of the late Doctor Graham ???D.G.??? Thomerson and Katie Saunders Thomerson. Mr. Thomerson was a lifelong member of West Oxford Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He worked for Imperial Tobacco Co., A&P, and as an EMT with Granville Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 29, 2017 at West Oxford Baptist Church by Rev. Cameron Currin. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Surviving are his children, Conee T. Hockaday (Bruce) of Cary, Danny F. Thomerson (Dean Blakeley) of Raleigh; N. David Thomerson (Ralph Comer) of Brentwood, TN, Kay T. Weary of Grassy Creek and Cynthia T. Stainback (Gary) of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by his brother, Lawrence Sidney Thomerson of Durham; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Frank was preceded ineeath by his wife of 62 years, Pattie Mae Sizemore Thomerson. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home.
