Kathryn Harrison Addison

PITTSBORO: Kathryn Harrison Addison, age 69, of Pittsboro died Thursday following an extended illness. She was born in Richmond, VA to the late Thomas and Lorena Pascal Harrison, and was raised in Raleigh. Kathryn graduated from Broughton High School and pursued a career in nursing. She studied at Memorial Mission School of Nursing in Asheville and Watts School of Nursing in Durham. Kathryn continued training at Duke Hospital to become a nurse anesthetist. She worked at Rex Hospital briefly before becoming Chief of Anesthesia at Dorothea Dix Hospital
