Kenneth Richard Apgar

Kenneth Richard Apgar, age 94 formerly of Newark NJ, died peacefully at the Cedars in Chapel Hill on November 21st 2023. He was born July 26,1929 from parents, Theresa A. Apgar and Stacy T. Apgar. Ken was the second oldest child of three. He graduated from Irvington High School in Irvington NJ and worked at NJ Bell Telephone company (Verizon) for over 25 years before retiring to enjoy fishing and playing golf.

Ken is survived by his wife of 51years, Eileen Apgar (Mulcahy), Ken’s two children, Kenneth Apgar Jr. and Karen Sapir (Apgar) and his four grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Spencer and Caroline. He is preceded in death by his parents, Theresa and Stacey Apgar and his siblings, Richard A. Apgar and Dorothy L. Seitzmeyer.

Ken’s final resting place will be at St. Catherines Cemetery in Spring Lake, NJ.
