Lawrence Hayes Johnson

OXFORD: Lawrence Hayes Johnson, a native of Granville County died January 3, 2015. He was born neember 2, 1921. He is survived by his wife Kathryn Baughan Johnson; son Lloyd Johnson and two grandchildren of Oxford; a brother Leonard Johnson and a sister Ann Johnson both of Oxford. He is preceded ineeath by his parents Wayne and Anee Pollard Johnson. He served in the Uneed States Marine Corp during WWII, South Pacific. Lawrence was a member of Central Baptist Church. His occupation was serving in the Forestry and he also worked with the Kerr Vance Academy School. Services will be held Tuesday January 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Gentry neell and Vaughn Chapel by Reverend Bruce Beck. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 ??? 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Meadowview Memorial Park Cemetery in Oxford.
