Lector Mae Piper

CREEDMOOR: Lector Mae Piper, age 89, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. She was born in Wake County to the late Arthur Bailey and Lector Smith Bailey. Lector has four living siblings, Leonard Bailey Catherine, Liffie Bell Chamblee Harold, Evelyoneeagroves Albert aneella Mae Bailey. Three other siblings, Ola Ree Williams, Essie King, and Macon Bailey, are deceased. Lector retired after 46 years from Sterling Mills in Franklinton, NC. Funeral services will be conducted oneednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Enon Baptist Church by Reverend Bobby Piper. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor. The family will receive visitors at Enon Baptist Church, 2298 Enon Road, Oxford, NC from 10:00 until 10:45 AM prior to the funeral at 11:00 AM. Lector is survived by her four children Other Piper, Jr., Wallace Piper Bobbi, Edna Brown Steve, and Dennis Piper Brenda; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and is preceded ineeath by one grandchild.
