Lee Ann Kelly

Lee Ann Vivian Kelly, age 61 of Stovall, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 26th, 2023. Born on February 23rd, 1962, she lived much of her life in Ohio before ending up in North Carolina.

To know Lee Ann was to know fierce, undying love. She was passionate about many things, including family, music, and her Cleveland Browns. Ever listening to music, you could bet she always had Eric Church or the Eagles playing. Even when living in the south, she was still an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, and made sure folks knew how proud she was when they made it to the playoffs.

She is survived by her two children, Garrett Kelly and Jillian Medlin (Dylan), her brother Leslie Waite, sisters Christina Barhorst (Frank), Sue Hanson (Russell), as well as a host of “bonus kids,” other family, and life-long friends.

Preceded by her father, Leslie Waite, and her beloved son Shaun Mustar.

Services will be held at Gentry-Newell & Vaughan (503 College St., Oxford NC) on Friday, March 10th from 2 pm - 4 pm. A service will be held in Ohio for those who wish to cherish her memory as well, which will be scheduled at a later date.
