Lenora Fuller O'Neal, age 86, died Wednesday, August 10, at Duke Medical Center. A life-long resident of Durham, Lenora was born to the late Jimmie N. and Lelia Laneey Fuller on October 9, 1924. She was a talented and skilled organist who spent 24 years playing for the coneegation at St. Paul Uneed Methodist Church and later played at Braggtown Baptist for eight years. She taught piano for many years. Her life was spent being a mother and playing for the church. She was an avid gardener at her home on E. Club Blvd. and spent many hours taking care of her flowers for all to enjoy. Lenora is survived by her three children: Betty Eggleston and husband, Kerry, of Greensboro, NC; Reams O'Neal and wife, Andi, of Greenville, SC; and Denee Soret of Honolulu, Hawaii; one brother, Charles Fuller and wife, Sue, of LaGrange, GA; five grandchildren: Kamy Burch and husband, Tom; Kari Soots and husband, Dusty; Brian Eggleston and wife, Sandra; Christopher O'Neal and Claire O'Neal; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Harry O'Neal, and her brother, Milton Fuller. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 14, at St. Paul Uneed Methodist Church with the Reverend Mark D. Stephens and the Reverend Steven Murphy presiding. Burial will follow in Woodlawneemetery. Friends may visit with the family one hour before the service in the church sanctuary. The family appreciates the care provided by the staff of Carolina House, especially Tailey, Patrina, Kenyetta and Tonya.
