Lester Wilson Jones, Jr.

Lester “Les” W. Jones Jr., 78, of St. Augustine, FL passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023. Les was born in Durham, NC, to the late Lester Wilson Jones and Lillie Florence Jones.

Les is survived by his wife Jean Jones; 6 children Shane Jones (Amanda), Michael Jones (Nichole), Jennifer Walls (Lucas), Victoria Raybuck (Jereme), Stephen Jones (Ligni), and Anna Jones; 4 grandchildren Hannah, Benjamin, Lillie, and Knox.

Les was a man full of faith and palpable unconditional love. His gentle presence remains in our hearts.

Funeral services will be officiated by Bishop Harrison on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Craig Funeral Home, 1475 Old Dixie Highway, St. Augustine, FL 32084. A viewing will be from 4:00-6:00pm, and service starting at 6:00pm. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Durham, NC.
