Lina Bowling Spillman

Lina Bowling Spillman, 98, peacefully passed away Sunday evening, July 6, 2008. Mrs. Spillman, a native of Chatham County, resided in Greensboro, NC after living many years in Wilmington, NC where she and her husband, John Spillman, owned and maneed the Camera Shop on Front Street, a local landmark patroneed by residents of Wilmington for several decades prior to its closing. While Mrs. Spillman is predeceased by her parents, husband, brothers and others who passed before her, many loving relatives and friends remain who will miss her and be thankful that she touched their lives. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from the graveside at Pittsboro Baptist Church Cemetery, Pittsboro, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pittsboro Baptist Church, PO Box 696, Pittsboro, NC 27312. Arrangements are under the care of Griffin Funeral Service of Pittsboro.
