Linda Mann Lorbacher

Linda Mann Lorbacher, 66, of NC 87 North, Pittsboro, died August 18, 2009 at UNC Hospital after a brief illness. Linda was born in Martin County on May 15, 1943, the daughter of James and Ruth Grimes Mann. She was employed by the former A&P Grocery Company for thirty years, then with Lowes Foods for eight years until her retirement. Linda was a member of Mt. Pleasant Uneed Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Johnee A. Lorbacher, Sr.; her sons and their spouses, David and Marcie Lorbacher of New Hill, John and Teresa Lorbacher of Collinsville, IL; her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Danny Buckner of Thomasville; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Williams of Apex and Janie Shaw of Pittsboro; and her mother-in-law, Zelma Lorbacher who resides at the Laurels of Chatham in Pittsboro. Mrs. Lorbacher's funeral will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Mt. Pleasant Uneed Methodist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 8:00 pm Friday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home, Griffin Chapel, 396 West Street, Pittsboro; and at other times at the residence of David and Marcie Lorbacher ineew Hill.
