Linda Marshall Stroud

FRANKLINTON - Linda Marshall Stroud, 67, died Monday morning, May 19, 2008 at Duke Medical Center. Born in Franklinton, she was the daughter of Nellie Lane Stroud and the late Jack Stroud. In addition to being a faithful member of Perry's Chapel Baptist Church, she was also a devoted daughter and sister who loved dogs and cats. Linda is survived by her mother, Nellie Lane Stroud of Franklinton; her brother, Jackie Stroud and wife, Rose, also of Franklinton; her nephew, Jeff Stroud and wife, Angela; two great nephews and three great-nieces; and many loving cousins. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, May 21st at Perry's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating. Friends may visit with the family following the service in the church or other times at the residence of Jackie Stroud.
