Lisa Anneeavlin, age 39, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2018, at the Jim and Betsy Bryan Hospice Home in Pittsboro, NC.?? Lisa was surrounded by her loving family and close friends. Lisa was born July 13, 1979, to Lee B. Heavlin anee. Yolanda Cleto Heavlin at Alameda County, California. A graduate of Chapel Hill High School Class of 1997, she beganeer medical services career at Carrboro Family Medicine and then joined UNC Healthcare in 2005 as a Medical Coder. Lisa was an AAPC Certified Professional Coder. Lisa was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church of Chapel Hill, NC; past president of the Chapel Hill Americaneegion Post 6 Auxiliary; founding member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Chapel Hill Post 9100; and was a champion amateur pool player with the American Poolplayers Association. ??Lisa frequently competed in ???The World???s Largest Pool Tourneent??? in Las Vegas, where she and her team won championship awards in 8-Ball competition. Lisa is survived by her parents, Lee and Yolanda Heavlin of Carrboro, NC, her brother Jorge Heavlin (Heather) of Hillsborough, NC; sister Lauralee Heavlin Long of Chapel Hill, NC; sister Johanna Heavlin-Martinez (Aneew) of Orange County, CA; niece Leanna Long of Maneester, NH; niece Rachel Heavlin and nephew Kehl Heavlin of Hillsborough, NC; nephew Jeremy Heavlin-Martinez (Tessa) of Sacramento, CA; and nephew Shawneeavlin-Martinez of Orange County, CA. Funeral services are as follows:?? Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Thursday, neember 8, 2018, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church,??940 Carmichael St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.?? Inurnment will take place immediately after the funeral mass and at the church columbarium.?? A reception and celebration of life??follow.
