Lisa Kaye Grineead Massey

Lisa Kaye Grineead Massey, 41, of 115 Macwood Drive died Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Durham Regional Hospital.

Lisa was a Durham native, daughter of Charles R. Grineead and Linda Baucom Rocker. She was a graduate of Northern High School and formerly worked as a histotechnologist at Duke Medical Center. Lisa was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, the Ron Williams Sunday school class and was active in the Awanas and with the senior citizens. Lisa loved to cook for her family and her genuine love of life and people was evident ineer everyday activities.

Surviving are her husband, Gary W. Massey of Durham; one daughter, Samantha Lynne Massey, of Durham; her father, Charles Grineead and wife Dina of Hurdle Mills; her mother, Linda Baucom Rocker of Durham; three brothers, Charles R. Grineead, Jr. of Chapel Hill, Gary Grineead and Jeff Grineead, both of Timberlake; and step-grandparents, Herb and Peggy Smith of Graham. She was predeceased by her daughter, Helen Elizabeth Massey.

Funeral Services will be 2 PM Tuesday at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Chasteen officiating. Burial will follow ineersoneemorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Monday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
