Lisa Marie Westerfeldt

Lisa Marie Westerfeldt, age 49, died Friday, June 20, 2008 at Duke Medical Center. She was born in Lake City, FL to the late Giles B. aneedith I. Marcum Smith on January 6, 1959. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Durham. Lisa graduated from Columbia High School in Lake City Florida in 1977. She received an Associates in Arts from Aneew College in Cuthbert Georgia. She moved to North Carolina to attend Greensboro College where she earned a Bachelors in Music in 1983. She went on to receive a Masters in Music Vocal Performance in 1985. Lisa worked as a live in Nanny for many families while in school and later ineer home. She raised many childreneefore she had her own. She also worked ineeveral local craft stores as both a sales person and a craft class maneer. Her life was devoted to Music, Arts & Crafts and children. Lisa Marie is survived by her loving husband of nearly 20 years, Christopher Westerfeldt of Durham; her three children: Jenneer, Katilyn and Benjamin, all of the home; her three brothers: John Smith and wife, Linda, of Lake City, FL; Greg Smith and wife, Sherry, of Milton, FL; Wayne Watson and wife, Faye, of Havana, FL; two sisters: April Tompkins and husband, Ronal of Lake City, FL; and Melanie Smith of Mayo, FL; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, June 27, 2008, from St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Vicar Aneew Bansemer presiding. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
