Lois Faucette Cottrell

OXFORD: Lois F. Cottrell, age 82 of Sidney Cottrell Road, died Saturday, February 11, 2012. A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Ruben and Jessie Hobgood Faucette and the widow of Elijah Cottrell. Lois was a member of Stovall Baptist Church, a devoted wife, loving mother and a homemaker. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Chapel by Rev. John Yount. Burial will follow in Salem Uneed Methodist Church Cemetery. Surviving are her sons, Jerry Cottrell Bonee, Sid Cottrell Angela and Dennis Cottrell Tammie all of Oxford. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded ineeath by a brother, Irvin Faucette.
