Mrs. Lottie Hineey Cook passed away early Wednesday afternoon, February 12, 2014 in Siler City, NC. A native of Wake County, NC, Lottie was one of seven children born to the late Paul Hineey and Lucy Hussey Hineey. She had a love of Bluegrass music and telling jokes. She was an amazing cook known for her fried chickeneenders, fried peach pies, and cold oven cakes. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cook was preceded ineeath by two of her brothers, Gerald and Paul Hineey, and her sister Polly Mitchell. Survivors include her husband James "Joe" Cook, of the home; her son Brad Tabitha Cook of Pittsboro; her brothers Fred Kay Hineey of Merry Oaks, NC and Walter Lee JoanneHineey of Bonsal, NC; her sister Helen Jasper Culberson of Graham, NC; and her grandchildren, Brandon Cook, Ethan Cook and Aaron Cook. A Service to Celebrate the life of Mrs. Lottie Cook will commence 2PM, Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Griffin Chapel, 396 West St. Pittsboro, NC 27312. The family will receive friends from 3-5PM Saturday February 22, 2014 at the funeral home. A family fund for Joe & Lottie Cook has been established at Sun Trust Bank in Pittsboro, NC.
