Louis Carl Fras

DURHAM ??? Louis Carl Fras, age 83, died oneebruary 5, 2020. He was born on neember 4, 1936 to Lewis Fras and Sophia Wojtylko Fras in River Rouge, Michigan. Louis attended the Uneersity of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he earned a degree in pharmacy. He joined the Navy and was a member of Public Health Service from 1964-1970. He theneent into retail pharmacy and worked until 1985 as a pharmacist. Louis was an avid gardener aneenjoyed the outdoors all his life. He earned the designation, Master Gardener, through community college courses aneenjoyed working with both indoor and outdoor plants. Fishing was also a lifelong pastime for Louis. Louis believed in living a life of service aneexemplified his Christian witness through his work with the Knights of Columbus. Louis is survived by his wife, Jane and daughter, Anne Marie Fras (Mark Sikora) and grandsons, Colin Sikora, Dylan Sikora, Brendan Sikora, stepchildren Judy Pelly, Mary Jane Childs, Robert Fitzgerald, Eileeneebb, Brian Fitzgerald, brothers Leon Fras, Frederick Fras, Wilfred Fras and sister Eleanor Richmond. Louis was preceded ineeath by his first wife, Patricia O???Brien. A mass of Christian burial for Louis will be offered on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Durham, NC.
