Louise Sellers Snees

Louise Sellers Snees, 87, died Tuesday at Hillcrest Convalescent Center. A native of Halifax County, she attended Eneeld public schools. Louise was a graduate of Watts School of Nursing and spent a career in nursing, retiring from Duke Medical Center in 1985. Louise was a member of Asbury Uneed Methodist Church and the McCracken Sunday School Class. Surviving are her nieces, Margaret Riddle of Weldon, Shirley Johns of Victoria, VA, Mary Lee Bell of Clarkton, and Penny Smith of Summerville, SC; nephews, William Sellers of Waynesboro, VA, Russell Birdsong of Halifax; and step-daughters, Phyllis Hendry of Largo, Fla. and Dorothy Lea Mitchell of Charlotte; and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Clem Snees in 1982. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday from Asbury Uneed Methodist Church, with the Rev. Leonard Doucette officiating. A graveside service will follow in Eneeld at 3:00 PM. Friends may visit 4-6 PM Thursday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service. Donations in Louise
