Lowry Ballard Williams, Sr.

Oxford Lowry Ballard Williams, Sr. age 89, died Sunday, January 20, 2013. A native of Granville county, he was the son of the late Preasley and Nora Vaughan Williams. Lowry attended West Oxford Baptist Church and was a self-employed painter. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Chapel by Reverend Wes Garner. Burial will follow at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Surviving is a son P.T. Williams Diane of Garner; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Williams of Oxford; 3 grandchildren, Dickie Williams, Kevin Williams, and Brian Williams; 2 great-grandchildren Lakin Williams and Aliney Williams. Lowry is preceded ineeath by his wife, Emma Williams; Kenny Williams and Lowry Williams, Jr. The Williams family is being assisted by Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home.
