M. Fay Dills

M. Fay Dills, 79, of Raleigh, died Friday, December 5, 2014. Born neember 12, 1935, in Durham, to the late William and Mary Heneetta Philpott Kearney. Fay lived most of her life in the Durham and Trianee area. Besides her parents, she is preceded ineeath by two sisters, Lois Branch and Sue Kearney, a brother, Larry Kearney and two grandchildren, Billy and April. Surviving are: her husband, of 60 years, Billy Dills of Raleigh; three sons, Michael Dills and wife, Lois of Raleigh, Bradley Dills and wife, Lynne of Hurdle Mills, Steve Dills and wife, Robin of Raleigh; five grandchildren, Heather, Shannon, Kristy, Michael and Chad; a brother, Ed Kearney and wife, Marlene of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews. The family will be present 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 West Main St., Durham. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Maplewood Cemetery, Durham.
