Mable Wilsoneeffries

Mable Wilsoneeffries, 85, died on Monday, September 21, 2009. Mable was born in Durham, NC to the late George and Nancy Wilson on April 6, 1924. Mable's life revolved around her family, her church Hickory Grove Baptist, her friends, and her garden. She held a special place ineer heart for her grandchildren. She was a beloved member of the Association for the Blind and treasured all her friends there. Mable is survived by her daughters Linda J. Parsons of Charlotte, NC; and Paula J. Hagen of Charlotte, NC; sons Timothy Jeffries and his wife Daisy of Bend OR; and Paul Jeffries, Jr. and his wife Theresa of Mouth of Wilson, VA; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters Margie Ellis and Augusta High of Durham and Barbara Wilson of Pittsboro; nieces and nephews. Mable is predeceased by her husband Paul Jeffries. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent, in Mable's nee, to NC Services for the Blind, 5855 Executive Dr. Ste 100, Charlotte, NC 28212. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 25, 2009 from Woodlawneemorial Park, 2107 Liberty St., Durham. The Rev. Ron Christ will officiate.
