Mae Love Chambers Currin, age 94, passed away peacefully at home oneecember 13, 2018. Born ineerson County, she was the daughter of the late Lee Chambers aneelizabeth Turner Chambers.?? She was a member of Roxboro Baptist Church ineer early years and became a member of Hester Baptist Church after marriage to Chaneer T. Currin, Sr. Mae Love had many accomplishments ineer life ??? some of which she was most proud were: being a buyer for Leggetts, a farm wife and mother, a Sunday School teacher, a den mother for Cub Scouts, a member of Oxford Professional and Business Women???s Club, The Woman???s Club, sales person for Touch of Class and was well known for her love of being well dressed. Mae Love is survived by her son, Chaneer T. ???Chanee??? Currin, Jr. and wife, Lynn McFarland Currin; grandson, Blake Edward Currin and wife, Jade Rachel Currin; great granddaughter, Bellamy Rachel Currin; son-in-law, Ted G. Holloman, all of Oxford; and brother, Lee Chambers, Jr. and family of San Diego, CA. Mae Love was preceded ineeath by husband of 60 years, Chaneer T. Currin, Sr.; her daughter, Sylvia Currin Holloman; brother, Burley Chambers; and sister, Gladys C. White. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Hester Baptist Church by Dr. Jeff Heneey and Dr. Randy Bridges.?? The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 ??? 2:00 pm in the Parlor at Hester Baptist Church.
