Margaret Boswell

Margaret Boswell, 88, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Croasdaile Pavilion. Margaret was borneecember 21, 1923 to the late Benjamineeaves Yeatts and Madie Jones Yeatts. She married Julian Lincoln Boswell October 29, 1950 in Chatham, VA. Margaret spent her career in nursing, having been nursing director at Watts Hospital in Durham. She retired from John Umstead Hospital where she had been a nursing supervisor. Margaret was a member of First Presbyterian Church since 1956, where she loved working in the church's nursery. She loved her family, took pride ineer nursing career, enjoyed traveling, and socializing with a few dear friends and many relatives. Her faith was a constant source of strength. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Julian Boswell; daughters, Pamela Boswell Gunn and husband, Wilson of Potomac, MD; Sandra Jenrette of Wilmington; and Julia Hill and husband, Marc of Rougemont; sisters, Patsy Hubbard of Dry Fork, VA and Carrie Barbee of Arlington, VA; grandchildren, Lisa Bratton, Sarah Miles, Chelsea Taylor, Carie Graham, Daniel, Benjamin, and Rachael Gunn; great-grandchildren, Jacob Bratton, Karli Taylor, Ashley, Kayla, and Maddi Miles. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Joseph S. Harvard and the Rev. Marilyn T. Hedgpeth presiding. Friends may visit 6:00 8:00 PM Friday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
